WICU, Erie’s first television station, signed on the air for the first time on March 15th, 1949.  The station has come a long way since the first flickering black and white images Erie residents watched in downtown appliance store showrooms.

What has never changed in sixty years is our commitment to the viewers in the Erie area.  Take a look back at the pioneers who helped put WICU on the air and the pioneers who push us into the future.  The WICU 60th Anniversary Special, hosted by Lisa Adams and Paul Wagner.
